Classic Eko P3 (1979)
It is full size, with a classic cutaway, and a scale of 64 cm.Koto top and mahogany rests. It features ladder-braced bracing, and the back is arched mahogany, as are the sides and neck.
These guitars were highly appreciated for their high quality workmanship, very good materials, good performance and great sound.
This instrument was built for use with steel strings, but closer to the parameters of a classical guitar, a very interesting intermediate option for classical guitar players who want to try other sounds without changing the distances they are used to, fingerboard without radius. It has very few scratches in the varnish, normal for a guitar of its age.
The frets and fingerboard are very good. It tunes, octaves, and plays perfectly. It is a very rare instrument of which not many units were built.
One of the finest Dreadnought acoustic guitars built in Europe. The most successful European guitar in history. At least 100,000 were made, including six- and twelve-string configurations, but the true figure could be closer to 200,000. Under various names and versions, it was a mainstay of the Eko range for over twenty years. Of note is the neck, excellent in every way, with an adjustable bar that reaches down to the last inch, allowing for perfect tuning. The string spacing is ideal for those who don't like tightness. Very comfortable to the touch!
