Parlor guitar (1900) Austria

This guitar is built with solid woods, in an artisanal way.

It was probably built in Austria, although it has characteristics of the Italian style.
The top is cedar with a one-piece maple back. The rim and soundhole are inlaid with wood.
The bridge is made of rosewood and the fingerboard as well, the pins are made of ebony with mother-of-pearl or bone inlays.

The bronze frets are original, reconditioned, round and shiny.
The tuning machine is mechanical, probably one of the first, and looks like the original.
The nut is made of rosewood and has no 0 fret. Scale length: 62 cm.
The sides and back are made of solid maple wood and the handle is also made of maple wood.
The guitar is fully operational, solid and well tuned with a great sound. It has an entire top without any cracks or repairs, something very rare in such old instruments.

It is strung with nylon strings, but can be used with nylgut, natural gut, etc.

The height of the first string at the 12th fret is 2.3 mm.
Although it has some small scratches, it is firm and very comfortable to play, tuning well on all frets.

It has been inspected internally and externally, taking all the necessary actions to safely recover this great instrument.

It has a crack in the bottom, on one side that was repaired some time ago and is solid and firm,
