Kay K-22 1953 Built in Chicago in 1953.

It is Jumbo size with a 65.5 cm scale. Spruce top, neck, sides and bottom are made of one piece of mahogany from Honduras, rosewood fingerboard from Brazil. Mother of pearl inlays. "Steel reinforced" neck with restored original bronze frets comfortable to play.

It has marks on the fingerboard wood of someone who touched it a lot, polishing the rosewood, but they do not interfere at all when playing, nor are they noticeable.

It also has numerous scratches and small scars typical of an instrument of its age, but no major fracture or repair.

You have already done the neck-reset and the height of the strings is perfect. The lid has also been coated with a thin layer of nitro.

One of the biggest guitars I've ever had in my hands. The sound matches the size while maintaining impressive timbre and presence with great sustain.

Strung with 0.11 80/20 bronze. Revised and adjusted!
